Iran’s President Congratulates World Leaders on Christmas

In separate messages to world leaders on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (PBUH), Rouhani expressed hope that the international community would push for the promotion of peace on the basis of justice by taking advantage of the teachings of divine prophets and through solidarity and rapport.

The Iranian president also hoped for security, calm, welfare and equality in the world.

Concluding his message, Rouhani wished world governments and nations prosperity in the year 2019.

In a separate message on Tuesday, the Iranian president congratulated the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, on Christmas and beginning of 2019.

Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated generally on December 25 as a religious and cultural holiday by millions of people around the world.
